Fighting with soldiers of the terrorist state of russia has reached its maximum intensity, and the enemy is storming the positions of Ukrainian troops in several directions simultaneously. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
“The situation remains difficult and shows signs of further aggravation. The enemy used all forces and means to capture our territory and surround our troops. The fighting has reached its maximum intensity so far, the enemy is storming the positions of our troops in several directions at the same time. We are facing an extremely difficult and long stage of the struggle, and we must understand that this is a war, and, unfortunately, losses on our part are inevitable,” – said Malyar.
According to her, the aggressor exerts intense fire along the entire line of contact and in the depths of the defense of Ukrainian troops in the Donetsk operational area, using tactical missile systems, aircraft and artillery.
“Ukraine will fight for the complete liberation of our territories within internationally recognized borders, and Putin can save face by withdrawing from our territories,” – the deputy minister stressed.
At the same time, the representative of the Main Operational Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksiy Gromov added that the enemy is trying to establish full control first over Luhansk, then over Donetsk regions.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy fired on our troops to prevent them from reaching the state border. The russians are not succeeding.
In the Slavic direction, the russian federation is trying to maintain its position and create conditions for the resumption of the offensive. In the areas of Dovhenky and Bogorodichny he tries to storm and attack. It is not successful.
In the Lyman, Severodonetsk, and Bakhmut areas, the enemy is trying to break through the defenses in order to reach the administrative border of Luhansk region. In the Lyman direction, the occupiers, with air and artillery support, are conducting an offensive and trying to completely capture the city.
