On Sunday, May 22, for the second time in a week, the russians launched a missile strike on Malyn in the Zhytomyr region, killing a railroad worker, Mayor Oleksandr Sitaylo said.
“The russian federation has once again launched a missile strike on our city. Ukrzaliznytsia’s infrastructure facility, about 150 residential buildings, one apartment building, a number of shops and cafes, and some industrial enterprises were damaged. “Unfortunately, we have one victim – an employee of Ukrzaliznytsia … There are also four injured – three employees of Ukrzaliznytsia and one resident of Malyn,” – the mayor said.
According to Sitayl, all the wounded were hospitalized – they receive the necessary medical care. Rescuers and medics, as well as investigators of operational groups worked on the spot. Rescuers put out the fires that broke out after the rocket strike at about 7 p.m.
Earlier, russia launched a missile strike on Raspberry on May 20.
