A spokesman for the Ministry of Defense spoke about the change in tactics of the invaders in the Kharkiv region.
There are already several points in the Kharkiv region where Ukrainian soldiers have crossed the border with russia, Defense Ministry spokesman Oleksandr Motuzyanyk said on the air of the national telethon on Wednesday evening, June 1.
“There is no active hostilities in Kharkiv region now. However, the russians there began to “dig in”, that is, to make fortifications. Now the russians in the region have changed their tactics. This is constant shelling, this is keeping our troops in constant tension and withdrawing our units. But there are already places in the Kharkiv region where our servicemen have crossed the border with russia,” – Motuzyanyk was quoted as saying by Channel 24.
According to him, the russians are not reducing tensions in the region just so that the UAF units do not move from there to another direction. The invaders are also doing everything to curb the Ukrainian army’s counteroffensive.
In addition, according to a spokesman for the Defense Ministry, the russians have now begun to build fortifications on their territory. These theatrical actions in the border area began in order to allegedly show the possibility of invasion of russian lands.
