According to the military administration, the russians launched a missile strike on a military infrastructure facility in the Yavoriv district. It is known that the Air Defense Forces shot down two missiles fired from submarines in the Black Sea.

Residents of Lviv region reported several explosions that were heard from 4:25 a.m. to about 5:00 p.m. At this time in the area there was an air alarm. Novoyavorivsk Mayor Volodymyr Matseliukh recorded a short video message from the car, asking residents to remain calm and wait for official information.

At 8:00 a.m., the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, said that the russians had launched a missile strike at a military infrastructure facility. He later clarified that it was a facility near the border with Poland in the Yavoriv district.

“Residents of Lviv region! Today, May 15, at about 04:30, there was a missile strike on one of the objects of military infrastructure. As of this hour, there is no information on the dead and injured. The presence and nature of the destruction is being clarified, “Kozytskyi said.
According to Maksym Kozytskyi, four missiles hit the territory of the military infrastructure facility. As a result of the impact, the object was completely destroyed. And the mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovy later clarified that the military facility attacked by the russians is located 15 km from the border with Poland.

Subsequently, the Air Command “West” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the missiles were fired at the Lviv region from submarines from the Black Sea.

“The racists fired several missiles at the Lviv region to destroy critical infrastructure. Launched cruise missiles were probably from submarines. “Two anti-aircraft missiles of the occupiers were destroyed by anti-aircraft missile units of the West Air Command,” the military said.

There are no casualties.

It will be recalled that when the russians first attacked the Lviv region with missiles, they hit the Yavoriv test site near the border with Poland. It happened early in the morning of March 13. The incident killed 35 servicemen and injured 130 others.
